Which One of the ADT Security Systems is Right for You?

ADT Security Systems are very popular. In fact, I see more ADT security yard signs than any other security company.

In this article, I will show you what type of security systems you can choose from with ADT. Always perform your due diligence by calling them up and setting up an appointment to discuss which alarm system is best for you.

Safewatch® QuickConnect

One of the cheapest of the ADT security systems is the Safewatch® QuickConnect system. The installation price is $299 plus $42.99 a month for monitoring. The monitored services are for burglary, police emergency, fire, power failure and trouble. You can have two-way communication with the monitoring system when the alarm siren is triggered.

There are two wireless door and window sensors, a wireless motion detector, ADT window decal and yard sign. There is also a battery in case there is a power outage. There is a wireless keychain remote that you can use to turn the system on and off. The motion detector will detect movement in certain parts of your home.

Safewatch Pro RF

The next system is the Safewatch Pro RF. This system has smoke and heat detectors in addition to the monitoring services listed for the Safewatch® QuickConnect. Installation price is $499 plus $35.99 a month for monitoring.

This system comes with a wireless control panel, standard touchpad, two wireless door and window sensors and a wireless motion detector. In addition, you'll get a quick key remote that will allow you to turn on or off your security system, control the garage door and turn on the lights in your house.

This system also comes with an indoor sounder. When there is an intruder or an emergency situation happening, loud beeps will be triggered to alert you of trouble.

And of course you get the ADT yard sign and window sticker.

Essentials Plus

The Essentials Plus is different from the previous ADT security systems because it is wired instead of wireless. The control panel, door and window sensors and the motion detector are all wired. You also get one indoor sounder and an extra battery in case of a power outage.

The monitoring services are the same as the other systems. You get the window sticker and yard sign also.

The cost for this system is $349 for installation plus $33.99 a month for monitoring.

Critical Conditions

The last system is called Critical Conditions. Not only does the monitoring service monitor for the emergencies described in the other ADT security systems, it also monitors for freezing temperatures, flood and carbon monoxide gas. This is a wired system that comes with a wired control panel, touchpad, wired door and window sensors, wired motion detector and an indoor sounder.

It also comes with a smoke detector, and a flood, temperature or carbon monoxide detector. When the smoke detector is triggered, ADT will notify the fire department even if you're not home. You'll get a transformer and battery backup in case of a power outage. A window sticker and ADT yard sign are included in this package.

The price for the Critical Conditions system is $499 for installation plus $38.99 a month for monitoring services. When you call ADT home security, ask for any specials or deals they might be running. You may be able to get one of these packages for lower than the advertised price.
